With UAB’s victory, Conference USA is now 3-0 vs. the Southeastern Conference in the First Round.  UAB is now 3-0 vs. the Southeastern Conference overall.

The largest margin of victory for an 11 seed over a 6 seed is 23 by Lamar over Alabama 73-50 in 1983.

Fairleigh Dickinson is now 0-3 vs. the Big Ten Conference

Louisiana State is now 0-4 on March 17.

Tennessee-Chattanooga is now 0-4 on March 17.

Arizona is now 3-0 when playing in the state of Idaho.

Utah State is now 0-5 vs. the Pacfic Ten Conference.

With Nevada’s win, the Western Athletic Conference is now 2-0 vs. the Big Twelve Conference in the First Round.

Texas’ 57 points is the fewest that Nevada has allowed in 6 tournament games.  The previous low was against Washington with 64 in 1984.
